Well hello there folks! Kia ora and welcome to our new website for the New Zealand Malaysian Society of Wellington. Yes, it’s in a form of the blog. Everybody has a blog nowadays - kids, adults, ranting teens, you get the gist. Even google has their own blog.

But I digress. This post is all about our very first meeting as committee members of the NZ Malaysian Society for 2011/2012. Our chairman incoming President is Mr. Iskandar Zulkarnain Johar, and he has a very interesting story about his ancestry. He’s super friendly wan, feel free to corner him for questions when you do meet him! He’s the most hensem fella in the slideshow pictures, just in case you have no idea what he looks like.

Now that you’ve seen the faces of the Malaysian Society committee, give them a warm fluffy welcome! As a result of the meeting, the wheels have been set in motion (and I was quite hungry after all the thinking). Stay tuned to this website for official announcements from the Society - but of course, we have a facebook page for social interaction, collaboration and the latest news on NZMS activities!
